The Institute of Business and Management (IBAM) is part of the global RDI Group and is committed to the delivery of campus based full-time taught programmes in association with several of our UK university partners.

IBAM offers pathways of programmes from Diplomas to Degrees and Masters including MBA’s. In most cases ‘top-up’ routes from other qualifications are offered. All of the programmes offered by IBAM are UK university qualifications or accredited by UK government approved professional bodies.

The Institute of Business and Management (IBAM) currently has study centres in the UK and Hong Kong with further centres planned for 2010.

Academic Programmes

Postgraduate Programmes (1 Year - Full Time)

MBA (Maritime Management)- University of Wales - One Year

Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree with good grades. Plus 2 years of full-time work experience. Applications from mature candidates without an undergraduate degree are welcomed provided they can demonstrate a minimum of five years professional management experience supported by references covering the five year period. English ability equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.5, for overseas candidates who have not previously studied in English

ICM Professional Maritime Programmes (Full Time)

Eligibility: The Institute operates an ‘Open Access’ policy in respect of many of its vocational programmes but prospective students should note that the following entrance qualifications are recommended for those wishing to undertake the ICM programme:

A Suitable ICM Diploma or A suitable BTEC Higher National Diploma or Any Shipping or Maritime qualification equivalent or Experience in the shipping industry
Students holding relevant recognised qualifications from other institutions or professional examining bodies may apply for exemptions on a subject-for-subject basis
