Diploma in Shipping Management

Summary
- This course prepare students for middle to higher positions in management within the areas of shipping
- Duration: September start for April examinations or January start for June examinations
- Entry requirements: The Higher Certificate of LIST, or, an equivalent qualification in shipping/transport. Relevant work experience may also be taken into consideration for students who are 25 years of age or over who do not possess formal qualifications.
- Fees:1 payment of £2,800
Program Structure Throughout, the emphasis of the course is on analysis and the application of knowledge and skills gained to the resolving of real life problems. Additionally, students are expected to undertake research as part of the project they must submit on completion of the course.
Visits to Lloyds of London and the Baltic Exchange are organised. Visits to Docks and other Transport Terminals are arranged during the course whenever possible.
