Summary

Objectives: To help participants acquire knowledge in relation to the purchasing function so that they will be able to administer their job effectively and efficiently, thus reduce the management’s added responsibility of training.
Who Should Attend: This is a comprehensive program suitable for newly appointed buyers, and purchasing personnel who need to know this subject matter in relation to their job assignment.
Duration: 72 hours
Award of Certificate: Awarded by Singapore Institute of Materials Management (SIMM). To achieve the award of Certificate in Purchasing Management, candidates must pass the final examination with a total score of 50 or higher, and attend at least 75% of the sessions.
Entry requirements: Participants should possess 3 GCE O levels or equivalent qualification. Those who do not meet the entry requirement maybe considered on a case by case basis. Participants must members of SIMM
