Professor Aleka Mandaraka Sheppard - Lawyer, Professor of Maritime Law, Maritime Arbitrator, Mediator and Risk Management Consultant. Pioneered the teaching and practice of risk management in shipping. Over 25 years of experience in the field. Writes about all aspects of maritime law and regulations. Taught maritime law in several colleges, Devotes most of her time to her arbitration practice, acting in all types of maritime disputes. Also founded London Shipping Law Centre at University College London.
